Welcome to New Zealand

I can't believe I've really left Australia today! It's been great five years.

Had to wake up early this morning to catch a plane at 8:30 am. The flight was delayed by an hour so we landed in Christchurch about 2:30 pm. I checked in a hostel in the city centre and went for a stroll to the city immediately. I only had time to buy telephone cards and eat some fried noodles.

I'm picking up the bike from a bike shop tomorrow morning. I'll stay here all day so hopefully will have time to see a bit more. Starting the trip on Friday.
